Strategies
For Investors & DFIs
Deal structuring, risk assessment, and on-the-ground intelligence for DFIs, impact funds, and family offices exploring São Tomé and Príncipe. From thesis to term sheet.
For STP Government & Private Sector
Transaction advisory and introductions for local enterprises, SOEs, and ministries seeking international partners, concessional finance, or capital markets access.
Infrastructure
Structured advisory for core and value-add infrastructure opportunities in STP — energy transition, ports, telecoms, water, and logistics — drawing on the playbook of DIF Infrastructure funds: long-tenure capital, operational value creation, and public-private alignment tailored to frontier-market risk-return.
The Opportunity
A stable Atlantic democracy that graduated from LDC status in December 2024 — the first such transition in the Gulf of Guinea in over a decade.
World-class premium cocoa, a nascent eco-tourism sector, and one of the most underexplored blue economy footprints in West Africa. The World Bank and African Development Bank have committed multi-year programmes through 2029.
The country is structurally underserved by international capital. The first-mover advantage is real — and the window is narrow.

Sustainable Value
Sustainable value is not an overlay — it is the starting point. Príncipe Island has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2012, and São Tomé and Príncipe's competitive edge lies in its nature, culture, and stability.
Every mandate is evaluated through an ESG lens: environmental stewardship, local stakeholder inclusion, and governance standards that outlast any single transaction. The aim is capital that compounds for investors while leaving the islands stronger than they were found.

About
Born in São Tomé. Built a career in London. Spent nine years inside the institutions that move capital across borders — BNP Paribas, Sony Group, and JP Morgan, where I am currently a Finance Professional within the investment banking industry.
Along the way: multi-billion cross-border acquisitions, large-scale debt restructuring, and entity setup and structured finance mandates across EMEA and APAC.
I hold an MBA from Imperial College London with exchanges at HEC Paris, SMU Singapore, and IIT in India. I work in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, and São Tomé Creole.
What makes the bridge worth building isn't pedigree. It's that I understand both rooms — the term-sheet room in Canary Wharf and the conversation in Creole back home — and I am unwilling to let either misunderstand the other.
I have spent over 15 years studying, working and travelling across the world and have friends, colleagues and specialists who can support tackling the most complex tasks in any economy or environment — from São Paulo to New Delhi, New York, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kampala, Luanda, Dubai, Paris, London and many more. I expect to leverage all of that support and ideas to bring creativity and strong execution.
The advisory is built on a blend of local, UK and EU corporate governance codes — ensuring every mandate is conducted with transparency, accountability and standards that work across jurisdictions.
